Public Service is a huge responsibility and commitment – one that I take seriously. When the vacancy for Alameda County Assessor became available, after significant deliberation, I am pleased to announce that I am running.
The responsibility of the County Assessor is to ensure that all taxable properties are accurately and fairly assessed. This is essential because our schools, roads, public safety, and community services depend on it.
I am dedicated to the needs of Alameda County residents. As a no-nonsense problem solver, I want to transform the Assessor’s Office by jump starting a slow moving bureaucracy. Having worked with and against the Assessor’s Office for years, I have firsthand experience with what works and what does not.
I will employ innovative technology to advance staff efficiency and capacity. As your County Assessor, I will bring a positive influence to our communities and make government work for everyone.
I am humbled, honored and grateful for the support of many citizens throughout Alameda County. If elected I will bring fairness, integrity, efficiency, accountability and excellence to the Alameda County Assessor’s Office.
